Theo-Latte is my blog for discussing the things I love to talk about most: theology, philosophy & coffee.

I call myself a pseudo-intellectual because I am committed to not taking myself too seriously (see Proverbs 26:12).  The only really good thing about me is the gospel.

My wife and I have been married since June 2001.  On October 19, 2006, we were blessed with twin boys (Isaiah & Micah).  The photo below is taken in front of one of my favorite local coffee shops in one of our favorite parts of town to hang out in.  I run the communications department at Southern Seminary, oversee the college ministry track in the School of Church Ministries, and serve as the lead pastor for Highview Baptist Church’s “campus church.”
