Theolatte

Nothing goes better with a steaming latte than an engaging discussion about theology and philosophy. Sit down with your favorite caffeinated beverage and peruse the thoughts of a pseudo-intellectual.

Sketchy Views

I really like to draw. As a graduate of the same institution as Charles Schultz (creator of Peanuts) I feel a moral obligation to continue my hobby of drawing.  At some point I would like to create a comic strip that highlights worldview issues in a creative way.  For the meantime I’ll keep sketching.  On this page I will simply post pictures of some of my early efforts.  Enjoy.

This is an early sketch for a central character. This is, for those who know me, semi-autobiographical.

evolution

I sketched this one on a flight from Florida back to Kentucky.  Okay, if you believe in a strict theory of natural evolution, then I mean no offense. I believe in micro evolution (changes within species) but not in macro evolution (one species evolving into another species). While there is ample evidence for “micro evolution” there really hasn’t been credible evidence for macro evolution.  All of the missing links I’ve ever heard of are either highly questionable or completely debunked as a hoax.  A good book to read if you want to explore issue further is “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist” by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.

More sketches to come.
