His full name is J.R.R. Tolkien, but his good friend C.S. Lewis called him “Tollers.”

Unlike Lewis, he was not a fan of allegory, and considered The Chronicles of Narnia to be quite ridiculous. He is known best for his trilogy The Lord of the Rings, which is based off an earlier work The Hobbit. He had a major impact on C.S. Lewis, most notably, in helping to lead him away from atheism to faith in Christ.
