The Story of Forgiveness We All Need
I’m a sketching, writing, thinking, coffee drinking, Christian, husband, father, and professor. I lead the Center for Biblical Apologetics & Public Christianity at Cedarville University.
Working at a coffee shop overhearing a group of guys talk about how they couldn't listen to a preacher at a funeral because he "talked like a preacher" adding extra syllables to "God" and "Jesus," mentioning how fake he sounded. There's a lesson here folks.
As strange as it may sound, it is the hypocrisy of Christians in the Bible that sometimes encourages me more than anything else. It reminds me that God’s relentless grip on me, not my relentless grip on God, keeps me in his love.
Proud of my wife who today is heading to Louisville, KY, to speak for a women's outreach event at Highview Baptist Church. She is bringing one of her closest friends from Cedarville with her, the merging of two worlds.
Mature people pretty much never claim to be mature.
Confident people pretty much never claim to be confident.
Humble people pretty much never claim to be humble.
