You Are More Than Your Vote.

You should really vote. Seriously. It’s a big deal. But you shouldn’t tie your identity to the party or person for whom you cast your ballot.

You are more than your vote. You are more than your party. Both matter. You matter more.

Whatever the outcome of this election is, Christians believe God is sovereign over all things. He will not be surprised. He will not panic. He has plans. His purposes will prevail. His church cannot be stopped.

 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:1–4, ESV)
