‘M a sketching, writing, thinking, coffee drinking, Christian, husband, father, and professor. I lead the Center for Biblical Apologetics & Public Christianity at Cedarville University. I’ve been married to my wife for over eighteen years. We are the proud parents of four children: Isaiah and Micah (our twins), Josiah, and Addilynn Joy. Our family has a dog named Dorothy for Dorothy Sayers.

Before coming to Cedarville I served in various roles in academic leadership and administration at Southern Seminary and Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky. At Cedarville I lead the Center for Biblical Apologetics and Public Christianity and teach in the Bible department. I’ve published books with Crossway, The Good Book Company, and B&H, as well as articles with Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, Relevant Magazine, Baptist Press, TableTalk Magazine, Touchstone Magazine, Desiring God, and others.
