Route 66: Day One
ERE’S the first day of the Route 66 challenge to take a trip through the sixty-six books of the Bible. I’ll post eleven days of passages that will take you from the beginning to the end. First, here’s a quick explainer video of three questions you should ask of each verse you’re reading:
Bible Summary: God created us to live in his presence and be satisfied with his goodness.

Bible Passages for Day One:
Genesis 6:6
6 The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
Exodus 6:6
6 “Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
Leviticus 6:6

Questions to ask of each passage:
- What is this verse about; what does it mean?
- How does this verse fit with what this particular book of the Bible?
- How does this verse point to the theme that God created us to live in his presence and be satisfied with his goodness?
